For Assignment 2, we are required to develop a proposal using any framework or concept, focusing on natural disaster–resilient cities. We need to consider economic, social, and environmental sustainability, including infrastructures (red, blue, grey, green) and disaster resilience strategies. Expected outcomes include a flood mitigation and volunteer training module, a townwatching ecosystem (AR/VR content), and an emergency kit prototype, all informed by surveys or expert interviews. The final concept should be architecturally feasible, original, and address the relationship between people and the environment, presented through slides with infographics, text, and images. Additionally, we will write a 1000-word reflective report covering the module, both assignments, and how the experience supports our professional practice.

TGC 3.2 Define and analyze problems to arrive at effective solutions
In Assignment 2, I illustrated proposals for a sustainable city aimed at creating a future convivial living environment. To do this, I first defined and analyzed the urban challenges, including social, economic, and environmental issues. This analysis allowed me to develop practical and well-informed solutions, ensuring that my proposals addressed real problems while promoting sustainable living.
TGC 4.1 Communicate appropriately in various settings and modes
In this assignment, I evaluated my professional and personal actions through the lens of sustainable living, considering social, economic, and environmental interconnections. Communicating these evaluations effectively was essential, whether in group discussions, presentations, or written reports. Using different modes and settings allowed me to clearly express my insights, share my learning with others, and ensure that my reflections were understood and meaningful.
TGC 8.1 Effective use of ICT and related technology
In this assignment, I used ICT tools like digital mapping, VR simulations, and visual journals to document and present how cultural values and site conditions shape urban experiences. This helped me translate complex urban contexts into clear, engaging visuals and communicate the relationship between people, culture, and place effectively.
