Passive Green Building Strategies Report - Individual ( 10%+50% )
We are required to integrate passive and active green building strategies into our final architectural studio project. This involves reflecting on what we learned from Assignment 1 and how to apply those strategies, incorporating passive strategies from our tropical case study where possible, and compiling our process and final proposal into an A4 reflective write-up and an A3 design report in PDF format.

TGC 1.1 Able to put theories into practice
In my final architectural design, I was able to put theories into practice by applying appropriate sustainable strategies I had learned throughout the module. Translating concepts into real design decisions allowed me to see how theory connects with practical solutions, ensuring my project was both functional and environmentally responsible. This process strengthened my confidence in turning knowledge into tangible outcomes.
TGC 7.1 Be aware of and form opinions from diverse perspectives
By analysing passive sustainable design strategies in relation to climate and culture, I became more aware of diverse perspectives in architecture. I learned how environmental and cultural contexts shape design decisions and how these choices influence space and user experience. This understanding allowed me to form more informed opinions and appreciate the value of integrating different approaches to create spaces that are both sustainable and culturally sensitive.
