ABOUT THIS MODULE

The 'Sustainable Living' module introduces students to sustainable living within urban environments, exploring strategies such as renewable energy, urban farming, sustainable building models, and waste repurposing. Students examine case studies locally and internationally, focusing on theories and frameworks of sustainable design. Through collaborative projects, they address real-world issues like climate, energy, food security, and waste, contributing to SDG 11. Learning is supported through online lectures, tutorials, workshops, and guided assignments, with feedback provided through both peer and tutor assessments.
